This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the site, the hosting service processes technical access data necessary to deliver and secure the website, such as the requested page, time of access, browser information and IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). According to IONOS, hosting access data is retained for eight weeks.

IONOS WebAnalytics
IONOS WebAnalytics is active for this domain as a hosting-level service; no separate analytics service has been added to this WordPress site. IONOS collects page requests, referrer, browser and device information, access time and an anonymised IP address through server logs or a tracking pixel for statistical analysis and technical optimisation. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics does not use cookies, and the IP address is anonymised immediately after transmission. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact form and email
If you contact me through the form or by email, I process the details you provide (typically your name, email address and message) to respond to your enquiry. The form sends your message to webmaster@thorstenluedtke.com; this theme does not store form submissions in the WordPress database. Depending on your enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before entering a contract) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (responding to other enquiries). Messages are deleted when they are no longer needed for the enquiry, unless legal retention obligations apply. Do not send sensitive information through the contact form.
